Requirements

To complete this guide you need:

Local administration rights on the machine.

A Pronestor SQL database setup for Pronestor Visitor. You need a SQL user, the password, the server and the database name for the setup. If you need help, please check our helpcenter for the guide.

If Pronestor hosts your SQL database, we need to open up for your external IP address so you can connect to the database. Please contack Helpdesk@Pronestor.com for this.

The installation file. Please download it here http://help.pronestor.com/pronestorvisitor/VisitorSetup.msi

A Pronestor Visitor license. You should have gotten this when you bought Pronestor Visitor. If you can't find it, Helpdesk@Pronestor.com might be able to help.

How to install

Save the file to your machine.

Double click the file.

Press next and follow the installation guide.

If you prefer a specific path, then you change it. Choose whether the program should be installed for just you or everyone using the machine.

Press next until the installation is complete, where you press close.

The program is installed. It did not create any shortcuts for you. If you want a shortcut on the desktop you have to go to the file path where it was installed. This guide assumes you went with the default path, so go the C:\Program Files (x86)\proNestor aps\proNestor Visitor and rightclick the file pronestor.exe

Press Copy

Go to your desktop and rightclick. Choose Paste shortcut

You now have a shortcut on the desktop.

Open your Pronestor Visitor Reception module.

Press the two little arrows pointing down.

Click off MS SQL and fill out the information.
