This guide is for Catering managers and Facility managers. It explains how to setup preparation and follow up time that is only activated by specific catering orders, how it works and how to use it.
Preparation and follow up time that is only activated by specific catering orders can be confusing for the bookers, and as such we generally recommend preparation and follow up time that is always activated, especially if you use catering for most of your meetings.
This guide is made with the 2019 admin ui. If you have an older ui you can still follow the steps, only the pictures are different.

- Catering manager rights in your Planner solution

How to toggle the catering resources to require reparation and follow up time
Go to the "resources" tab under administration.
Choose the catering resource that needs preparation time and follow up time and click edit.
Click the tab "Availability"
Toggle "Requires preparation and follow up time". In this image, it is toggled on:
The amount of preparation and follow up time is configured on the meeting room.
Remember to click "Save"
How to set the meetings rooms up so the reparation and follow up time only activates with specific resources
Go to the "resources" tab under administration.
Choose the meeting room resource that needs preparation time and follow up time and click edit.
Click the tab "Availability"
Fill out "Preparation time" and "Follow up time". In this example there are 15 minutes of both.

Remember to click "Save"
