This guide show you how to configure a Philips 10BDL3051T or 10BDL4151T and 10BDL4551T tablet for display.

Requirements
- A Display solution, version 6.0.7 or newer
- USB stick
- Physical access to the Philips 10BDL3051T or 10BDL4151T tablet
- Your Display URL

Notice the highlight buttons. Button 1 is the action button, button 2 is the volume control.
Check the firmware version
This is only relevant for 10BDL3051T. If you have a 10BDL4151T, please go to Factory reset - must ALWAYS be done
Display only supports firmware version 3.05 for 10BDL3051T or newer
- Press the action button and the volume control to access the settings area. You will be asked for a password. The default is 1234
- Click "Settings"
- Click "About" and check the build number
If the build number is 3.05 or higher, go to the chapter Factory reset - must ALWAYS be done
If the build number is 3.04 or lower, you need to update the firmware to 3.05. Please contact your hardware supplier if you need assistance with updating the firmware.
Factory reset - must ALWAYS be done
A factory reset is essential. When you unbox the tablet, it isn't factory reset. Most of the bugs we get, are because the device haven't had a factory reset. Save yourself a lot of trouble and get it done while you set it up.
Factory reset will delete all files on the device. Please back up anything you need to save first.
- Press the action button and the volume control to access the settings area. You will be asked for a password. The default is 1234
- Click "Settings"
- Click "System Tools"
- Click "Factory Reset"
- Click "Factory Reset"
Your device will now reset and reboot. This will take a few minutes.
Installing the Kioskbrowser
- Download the latest kiosk browser here https://downloads.pronestor.com/
- Copy it to a USB stick
- Insert the USB into your Philips tablet
- Press the action button and the volume control to access the settings area. You will be asked for a password. The default is 1234
- Click "Apps"
- Click "File Manager"
- Browse to where you put the file on the USB stick. Root is "mnt/usb_storage/"
- Select the .APK file and press "Open"
- Follow the installation instructions
Configuring the Kioskbrowser
How to set feature settings in the Android environment.
In the Android environment, you need to turn on the following settings under the app settings in the android interface.
The needed settings to turn on is:
- Camera permission
- Display over other apps
- Modify system settings
The path to the mentioned settings is following:
Settings → Apps → See all apps → Kiosk browser app
How to set the Kioskbrowser as the startup app.
- Hit the back button until the file manager is closed, or press the action button and the volume control to access the settings area. You will be asked for a password. The default is 1234
- Click "Settings"
- Go to Sound
- Turn the Volume all the way down.
- Go Back to the settings' menu.
- Click "Signage Display"
- Scroll down untill you see "Custom App"
- Click "Custom App"
- Click "Select App"
- Click "KIOSK"
- Click "Save"
- Hit the back button until you're back to start, or press the action button and the volume control to access the settings area. You will be asked for a password. The default is 1234
- Click "Settings"
- Click "Signage Display"
- Click "Boot on source"
- Click "Input"
- Click "Custom App"
How to remove the bottom navigation bar
- Press the action button and the volume control to access the settings area. You will be asked for a password. The default is 1234
- Click "Settings"
- Click "System Tools"
- Under "Navigation bar" click the cirle at "Disable"
How to configure the Kioskbrowser to point towards your Display
- Press the action button and the volume control to access the settings area. You will be asked for a password. The default is 1234
- Click "Apps"
- Click "KIOSK"
- Click and hold in the lower right corner for about 4 seconds. You will know that you got the right point when you see a grey square. You will be asked for a password. The default is "1234"
- Click "URL"
- Insert your Display URL for this tablet's room and click "OK".
In this example it's https://pronestor.pronestordisplay.com but check that the link is for your site. - Click "Go to URL"
- Click "OK" to the reminder
- Click on the meeting room, this Display should show
Your SIW Display is now ready for use.
Setting up TeamViewer for Centralized Device Management
Prerequisites: Firmware version FB02.05 (or newer), TeamViewer 12 (or newer)
The FB02.05 firmware version for Philips 10BDL3051T comes with a native TeamViewer Host application. This can be used for setting up centralized device management.
Please note that the following is merely a suggestion on how it can be implemented - does not provide support in third-party software. Please refer to your hardware provider for a setup guide.
- On the device, open the "Host" application from the home screen.
- In the "Assign" tab, input credentials for a TeamViewer account with an active licence and click "Assign".
- An email will be sent to the email address related to the TeamViewer account with verification details.
- Once verified, the device will be available for remote control from the TeamViewer account
