XML file format

Using XML file format for Pronestor Display.

Please note - this feature is ONLY available for on-premise installations of Pronestor Display!

Export booking data from any booking system and save it in an XML file format specified by Pronestor. The XML file is then read by Pronestor Display making the integration possible.

Individual files should be created per meeting room and saved in the <siteroot>\app_data folder - the naming of each file should be "Room_<roomid>_data.xml.

The roomid must match the ID specified for each meeting room (set when the rooms where created)

Example of the file format for a meeting room

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>

<Events xmlns="http://www.pronestor.com/Schemas/Display/1.0">

<Event>

<ID>1</ID>

<Subject>Hey, hey!</Subject>

<Start>2013-08-15T11:30:00+02:00</Start>

<End>2013-08-15T13:30:00+02:00</End>

<Organizer>

<Person>

<Name>John Doe</Name>

</Person>

</Organizer>

<Participants>

<Person>

<Name>John Doe</Name>

</Person>

<Person>

<Name>James Doe</Name>

</Person>

</Participants>

</Event>

<Event>

<ID>2</ID>

<Subject>My, my!</Subject>

<Start>2013-08-15T14:30:00+02:00</Start>

<End>2013-08-15T15:00:00+02:00</End>

<Organizer>

<Person>

<Name>Jane Doe</Name>

</Person>

</Organizer>

</Event>

</Events>

"Participants" is not a mandatory element.

The time format should be interpreted as follows:

2013-08-15T14:30:00+02:00

=

15. August 2013 14:30 in the time zone 2 hours ahead of UTC - in this case the Danish time zone.
