We have been made aware that some users experience information shortage in relation to rescheduling Pronestor-related meetings. Mainly meetings with bookings (rooms, catering or equipment) that are not available in the destination timeslot pose an issue.
Example scenario 1:
I have already arranged a meeting on the 2/2 2017 at 12:00 including the booking of Room X, but I need to reschedule the meeting to the 3/2 2017 at 12:00. Unfortunately, Room X is not available at that time and so the booking is lost.
Example scenario 2:
I have already arranged a meeting on the 2/2 2017 from 12:00 to 13:00 including the booking of Room X, but I need to extend the meeting and the booking to 14:00. Unfortunately, Room X is only available until 13:30 and so the end time of the meeting and the booking of Room X are not aligned.
Currently, Pronestor sends a post hoc update notification informing the user about changes made to the reservation.
We realize that this information is in some cases lost in the user’s mailbox or has more value prior to the actual rescheduling of the meeting. As we are continuously working on improving our software and the user experience, we will be considering solutions to this issue.
