Configuring Philips 10BDL3051T

 

Prerequisite: Pronestor Display 6.0.7 (or newer)

Setting up the the Kiosk Browser and Signage Configuration:

  1. Copy your .apk file in a USB stick (Find it here: http://help.pronestor.com/download/philips2303a.apk)
  2. Put the USB stick in the monitor
  3. Access "Settings" on the device by pressing the rounded button and the volume down button on the back of the device in sequence, and clicking "Settings"
  4. You will be ask for a passcode, the default is 1234
  5. Select "Apps"

  6. Select "File Manager"

  7. Browse to "mnt/usb_storage/"
  8. Select the .apk file and press "Open"

  9. Follow the installation instructions
  10. Hit the back button until the file manager is closed
  11. Select "Settings"
  12. Select "Signage Display"
  13. Select "Custom App"

  15. Select the desired app from the list and click on "Save"

  16. Access "Settings" on the device by pressing the rounded button and the volume down button on the back of the device in sequence, and clicking "Settings"
  17. Select "Signage Display"
  18. Select "Boot on source"
  19. Select "Input"
  20. Select "Custom app"

To remove bottom navigation bar:

  1. Access "Settings" on the device by pressing the rounded button and the volume down button on the back of the device in sequence, and clicking "Settings"
  2. Select “System Tools”
  3. Select Navigation Bar “Disable”

Firmware Update:

Please ensure that the Philips device uses the latest firmware released by Philips. 
The description below is our guide on how to upgrade if required.

  1. Download the update.zip from http://help.pronestor.com/download/update_philips.zip, rename it "update.zip" and place it in the root folder of a USB-stick
  2. Access "Settings" on the device by pressing the rounded button and the volume down button on the back of the device in sequence, and clicking "Settings"
  3. Plug the USB-stick in on the back of the device
  4. In "Settings", select "About" --> "System updates"
  5. Select the update file from the list and press OK

The device will reboot, update and reboot again when the update is done.
